Zayed Research Center

Description

Research and development laboratories designed to develop research into rare diseases for children has been completed. Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, and University College London are collaborating on the Zayed Research Centre in London.

Labflex is very proud of being involved in this project by designing, producing and installing new laboratories at the 3.000 m2 building. With a great attention to details, this solution is a great combination of aesthetics and functionality. The solution are designed with a perfect alignment of the worktops and the workstations, to enhance the user experience and enhance the overall look and function of the laboratory. The main laboratory benching is complimented by a ‘State of the Art’ acoustic hood which also maps the modular nature of the benching.

The laboratories create a new world class multidisciplinary centre of excellence, that will bring together clinicians from GOSH and researchers from UCL Institute of Cardiovascular Science.

Labflex have been working closely with our clients, the Client Design Team including the Architect Stanton Williams and the Main Contractor Skanska to successfully complete the high-profile project.
