The Engineering Heartspace project at the university of Sheffield has finished with an extraordinary result.
The 5-storey building has been refurbished and installed with state-of-the-art laboratory furniture. The project includes 60 laboratories, 100 supporting offices and the area covers 60.000 sq ft.
Labflex has been a part of this project by designing, producing, and installing the laboratory furniture. The solutions are designed upon Labflex’ System 10 / System 11 / System 16 and a range of customized furniture.
The objective of this project is to enhance the communication, collaboration, and work environment across the department of engineering.
To execute this project Labflex has been working closely with the users, The University of Sheffield, Bond Bryan Architects, and the main contractor Interserve Construction.
